TacticalMCC (Mobile Command & Communication System) Overview
The VisionComms TacticalMCC series is designed specifically for fast and simplistic establishment of tactical communications whenever and wherever conventional connectivity of "reach-back" may not be available due to collapse of hard infrastructure or in remote regions where communications infrastructure does not exist. The system is deemed First Responder Friendly because it sequentially boots all systems with the activation of one button. The TacticalMCC is designed to establish command, control, communication and computer (C4) field communications under any conditions. The solution is not only designed for first responders, but can be a valuable asset for school and hospital campuses, large utility and manufacturing facilities or other institutions and services where being able to communicate is a critical asset.

What is the purpose of the TacticalMCC?
The TacticalMCC is an easy to configure customizable solution. It permits agencies to have all the C4 capabilities of million dollar command trucks in a small modular package easily installed in commercially available vehicles or into existing vehicles and platforms. Its modular design allows your agency to design a system to meet today's capability and budgetary needs and expand in the future as new capabilities or budgets permit. The modular design also ensures the system will never become obsolete!

The TacticalMCC is compatible with practically all federal, state, local or regional communication systems translating into true interoperability at a truly affordable price. The standard TacticalMCC package provides resilient secure unified telephone and two-way radio interoperable communications when all other communications or infrastructures have failed or collapsed.

How does the TacticalMCC connect to the world?
The TacticalMCC connects you with the outside world via a VSAT (preferable due to high bandwidth capability) or BGAN satellite antenna and, when available, with any 3G\4G wireless or hard-line broadband device. Once activated the system creates a WiFi hotspot with up to a .5 mile (.8 km) radius, allowing the system to be accessed by any WiFi equipped smartphone or laptop. This hotspot is easily expandable using optional Tactical Extender Kits (TwEK's) creating a much larger footprint or around natural barriers such as high-rise building or mountains.

Already have a command or communications vehicle?
Maybe you already have a mobile command and communications vehicle but its capabilities are limited or outdated. VisionComms has a solution for you as well. The TacticalMCC's modular design can easily and inexpensively be integrated into any vehicle, even those that already have some of the functional elements of a system. Each component of the TacticalMCC can be independently integrated to an existing system to expand or upgrade your vehicle's capabilities at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new system or vehicle.

What kind of power requirements do I need?
The entire system requires little more than 500-watts of power (depending on the number of radio transceivers are in use at any given time). For emergency operations a deep-cycle battery and 500-watt inverter can get you up and running until such time as more robust power supplies are available.
