TacticalMCS (Man Portable Communications System)
The VisionComms TacticalMCS series is designed specifically for fast and simplistic establishment of tactical communications whenever and wherever conventional connectivity of "reach-back" may not be available due to collapse of hard infrastructure or in remote regions where communications infrastructure does not exist. The system is deemed First Responder Friendly because it sequentially boots all systems with the activation of one button. The TacticalMCS is designed to establish command, control, communication and computer (C4) field communications under any conditions. The solution is not only designed for first responders, but can be a valuable asset for school and hospital campuses, large utility and manufacturing facilities or other institutions and services where being able to communicate is a critical asset.

What is the purpose of the TacticalMCS?
The TacticalMCS is a fly-away kit which provides the necessary resources to provide instant communications to establish command and control capabilities in a small lightweight ruggedized carrying case for all conditions. The standard system includes a built in PBX server, desktop VoIP phone, wide area network (WAN) and local area network (LAN) ports allowing for internet and local connectivity, a WiFi antenna, options for portable WiFi SIP phones and multiple power connection options. Understanding that one solution may not meet the requirements of every customer the TacticalMCS is a customizable device dependent upon YOUR agencies needs.

How does the TacticalMCS connect to the world?
The system allows access to the internet through any WiFi enabled device to transmit email, data, photos and video. The systems architecture utilizes a multiple tiered approach to ensure communication capabilities are always a finger tip away. These are WiFi, broadband via 3G\4G and\or satellite connectivity via BGAN or VSAT or any other available IP based technology. The systems area of coverage is easily expanded by the use of optional Tactical Extension Kits – tri pod mounted nodes that may be equipped with observation cameras. Furthermore, the system allows integration into existing MESH networks and is compatible with any outside communications systems.

How portable is the TacticalMCS?
Following the recommendations of DHS the TacticalMCS is designed to be single person portable. The system is designed to carry-on to any commercial, military and\or chartered aircraft. It is also designed to carry a customer specified BGAN antenna in the case. The system is available with several portable power options including rechargeable batteries, solar power, and an assortment of domestic and international power plugs.
